🎻 JD Vance Gets Booed at Kennedy Center Concert
JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, were met with loud boos and jeers on Thursday as they attended a concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
🎶 What Happened?
The vice president and the second lady showed up to watch the National Symphony Orchestra perform Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 2 and Stravinsky’s Petrushka, a ballet about Russian puppets. But instead of a warm welcome, the crowd turned on them.
- In a video, Vance waves to the audience, and he and his wife smile at each other, but the reaction is far from friendly.
- “Thanks for coming, we appreciate your support,” one person sarcastically shouted.
- “Thanks for being on time,” another attendee yelled.
❄️ Not the First Time
This isn’t the first time Vance has faced public backlash. He was booed by a firefighters’ union in Boston last year and recently encountered angry protesters during a family ski trip in Vermont.
It seems like no matter where he goes, the reactions are getting louder.
